You will learn not only to know the basic components of the landscape, such as rock, relief, soil, plants and animals, but you will also understand the interrelationships between them.
The Department of Applied Ecology (DAE) - formerly Department of Landscape Ecology - was established on September 1, 1991 as part of the Faculty of Forestry at the Universtity of Forestry and Wood Technology (VŠLD) in Zvolen. The Faculty of Ecology (later the Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences – the FEE) became part of the Technical University in Zvolen on January 1, 1992.
